Ron and Jen

We sure had some crazy weather these past few days. First with the aftershocks of the earthquake a couple of days ago (anyone else feel it?) and tonight’s rain and thunder storm! Regardless, something compelled me to post Jen and Ron’s latest session. My only explanation is perhaps because they’ve been together for over 13 years, they have been through thick and thin together and nothing phases them as they can weather any storm together. Here are a few of my favorites =)

Ron claims that he’s fun like the iPhone where as Jen is more efficient and organized like the BlackBerry…i think they are both fun and organized..=)

Nechelle and Jivan are Married!! Part 1

When I met with Nechelle and Jivan last year for their engagement session, they told me about their wedding and how much food and preparation work their families would be putting into it.

Come the day of their Mehndi ceremony only a few weeks ago, they were not kidding. It may have been one of the hottest days of summer but Nechelle’s place was a flurry of activity. Family and close friends were everywhere either cooking or preparing for the ceremony while Nechelle’s sister’s helped Nechelle get ready for the ceremony inside in the nicely cooled AC controlled home.

If you know Nechelle, she can be quite quirky with her words. At one point during the ceremony, she said something to the effect of, “I feel like smurf hands are all over me”, which cracked everyone up.

At Jivan’s place, a similar ceremony was taking place and it was no different. Surrounded by friends and family, the ceremony took place under hot conditions. Regardless, it was fun to be given the opportunity to document the ceremony. More to come soon.

Neelofur and Faisal Part 2

By now, I am sure you are all familiar with Neelofur and Faisal from their engagement session to their Mehndi and Nikkah ceremony (let’s not forget all that dancing!!). The second day’s festivities were no different. Filled with fun and loads of entertainment from the legendary Grenville Pinto, to the very talented crew at Latin Energy. This was a real party and EVERYONE had fun. Here are some of the images from the day.
