moments…

It is just the beginning of the wedding season and already things are busy. I love work and blogging, but time is always too short. For a while now, everyone in the Fung residence has been busy with work, school and just life. I too have been guilty of getting side tracked with work most times and am reminded by my close friends, it’s not about how much money you make or how much you have in the bank. What it comes down to are the people you love and relationships you cultivate. It is for this reason that this impromptu backyard “bbq” was perfect. The whole family was together and we were not only able to enjoy the beautiful weather, but each others company. These are the moments in life I cherish the most. Happy Tuesday!!

Helen and Enoch are Married!!

There was so many photos that this wedding took me a little longer to blog. Last month I had the pleasure of helping out Leon for Helen and Enoch’s wedding in Vancouver, British Columbia!!! I started my day with the guys and I am glad I did because I got a chance to taste some of the best sushi I have ever had in a while. The day went very well, I was especially excited to be able to photograph in different locations around Vancouver.

The ceremony was held at the Museum of Vancouver, which was a beautiful venue with nice light. I really wish we had better weather conditions but we managed to squeeze in a few creatives at the Vancouver Convention Centre, Stanley Park and Granville Island where the  reception was to be held.

Leon, Gigi, thanks for having me out to help you guys for Helen and Enoch’s wedding, I had a blast with them and hanging out with you guys.

Here are some of my favorites. Be sure to also check out Leon’s pics of the day.

The above is one of my favorites. I love the moment Helen had with her mum when she was being given away by her dad.

This is one of my favorites. Leon and I were getting ready for our next shot, we left Helen and Enoch for two seconds and when we looked up, they were both mesmerized by the rolling ball sculpture nearby. They were like children in a candy shop.

Lydia and Jamie are Married

Last month, I helped Margaret out with Lydia and Jamie’s wedding and I am glad I did. It was a beautiful day and we got to photograph in the luxurious Old Mill. Check out some of my favorite shots.

I really like this shot of Lydia’s mom watching while the bridesmaids help with the dress.

In comes Jamie who will be seeing his bride for the first time today.

I think it was safe to say that Jamie was speechless when he opened the door and saw Lydia in her wedding dress. If I remembered correctly, the first things that came out of his mouth was “You….You are beautiful!”

Gorgeous!

The ceremony was held at the Old Mill Chapel and although dark, I liked it a lot. The lighting was somewhat dramatic and I just liked the character of the space.
