My name is Kevin Fung and I am visual storyteller based in Toronto, Canada.
About five years ago, while I was working as an official shutterbug for the provincial government, I started photographing weddings on the weekends. While my day job had me covering election campaigns and even following foreign dignitaries around — including the emperor of Japan and the Queen of England (for real!) — it was my weekend work that I grew more and more passionate about. Today, weddings are my full-time job.
Most brides and grooms know there's a lot of preparation that goes into planning a wedding. For me, documenting your marriage doesn’t just start on your wedding day. I start by forging a relationship with my couples early on so by the time your big day comes along, I am no longer a stranger but a friend — someone you trust implicitly, who will put you at ease so you’re looking relaxed, comfortable and radiant.
I want my couples to know that when you work with me, the experience and the quality of the images are never mutually exclusive. When we meet, a connection needs to be established. Once you book me as your photographer, I become emotionally invested in you — it is this investment that gives me the ability to create a range of images — fun, beautiful, organic — that capture the essence of your relationship.
If this sounds like the experience you’re looking for, please feel free to contact me. I’d love to meet up for coffee!
