Susan and Mike are Married!

I recall that this was one busy weekend. Just the day before, I assisted Ron in photographing my friend Adam’s wedding. The following day, we were ready to document Susan and Mike’s wedding. Again, the weather was iffy with rain coming and going, but we made the best of it, it also helped that Susan and Mike just ran with it.

As I mentioned before, the weather was quite erratic and unpredictable. Ron and I just set up the bridal party photo with two golf carts in the background. After one shot, it started to pour! The groomsmen hopped on the golf carts while the brides maids just started running back to find cover from the rain.0452is this not a cute looking cake?susan_mike_0567

Mary and Adam are Married!

A week or so ago I posted photo from Mary and Adam’s engagement session that I assisted Ron with. As you may already know, I have know Adam since grade school and it was great to have reconnected and in turn be able to assist in photographing his big day which took place on August 8, 2008!

Although the name might not ring a bell, the estate was used as a mansion in the Adam Sandler’s classic 1995 movie, Billy Madison.mary_adam_0588i love when the wedding party is easy going. it was stop and go rain non stop this day. However, we were lucky enough to find an unbrella to cover everyone!mary_adam_0304mary_adam_088602580224mary_adam_0853

it’s muffin time!

img_0416“muffin time it’s muffin time, won’t you have these muffin’s of mine…” Apart from photography, I would love to say something like…I love to bake or cook, but I unfortunately can’t add that into my pallet of skills.  Lucy and I have been entertaining the idea of cooking and taking photos of our masterpieces just for fun. This would help us learn more about photography, lighting and we get to eat what we make! This weekend I decided to make muffins. Now, I must confess that this is not a receipe from scratch, it’s actually one of those powder mix ones where you add water and bake. However, I added a twist to it. Crushed some blueberries and added it into the mix and in 20 minutes! Cha Chang! Nothing stellar I know, but I think an admirable first try. One of the muffins even had that Tim Horton’s Fruit explosion like sensation to it because the blueberries clumped together! *yum*
